SINGLE HAND

February 9, 2015

Be here or be there

Stay near and flee fear
We have choices too
It's all up to you

They say to play the hand you're dealt
Our lives aren't meant to be bet on
They are meant to be lived and felt

You may have those two faces
But one is always better
Go for broke or play it safe

We have choices too
It's all up to you
You can go all in
Or see what you win

Do what you will with your one hand
Sometimes it pays to be cautious
So be weary of where you land

We aren't dealt a second round
This is life we're dealing with
You could end up dead in the ground

Don't treat life like a card game
You can't bust and walk away
Don't be seen through just a frame

Don't bust, live today
Check down, and then say
I choose to live now
I will not bow out
