willow tree

December 9, 2019

One would think

That it would painful

And even scary

To cut down an old willow tree

That stood tall and full of life

In the back of my house

Honestly

I didn’t feel pain

And I didn’t feel scared

All I felt

When I took that axe to that tree

Was nothing

Absolutely nothing
