Captivity

August 12, 2018

Freedom has expired

Onto the road of depravity

Also known as captivity

Tortured when still alive

Watching others scared for their life

I’ve travelled for miles

With no needs met

All for my meat or coat

For your over stocked supplies

Keeping my children as slaves

Who I’ll never see again

To perform and entertain

You have no shame

The tourist photos express-

The stress in my face

Science and conservation –

Its all just a game

Rub burning chemicals in my eyes

Can you really justify?

The Pain is un-durable

The Suffering is unbearable

No humanity as they-

Ignore the plea in my eyes

What and where were my rights?

To suffer all my life

Give mercy –

To me and my birth right.
