Continuous love

August 13, 2018

Don’t be ashamed my dear,

That you contracted HIV

Most have taken that risk

I would never think differently

To hugs or sharing drinks

I love you all the same

Because to me,

Your family

Its not a life sentence

More of a life’s re-evaluation

For doing things that matter

I’ll take care of you,

Like you do me

Our friendship won’t change,

Even when your no longer here with me
