The Target I've Set

October 19, 2014

I see a target in front of me; I set it far away.

I see a target in front of me; I’ll get to one day.

I see a target in front of me; I’ll move further one day.

I see a target in front of me; a target I set for myself.

I see a target in front of me; I’m aiming for top shelf.

I see a target in front of me; so, so small in size.

I see a target in front of me; but it comes with no prize.

I see a target in front of me; it’s me in the future.

I see a target in front of me; it’s changing my method in suture.

I see a target in front of me; aimed so far in the sky, that I, try and try, but despite, that I, put aside, my life, my rights, and my sight, in order to aim for that target in flight, I still fail with quite the smite.

But there’s nothing to stop me, from being what I can see.

But there’s nothing to hold me, from being what I’m seeing.

But there’s nothing to keep me down, from being a king.

But there’s nothing to check me, from being this better thing.

But there’s nothing to stop me at all.

But there’s nothing to stop me at all.

Like the Great wall, I will not completely fall.

Like Fort Knox, I must not fall.

All it takes is some dedication with in this nation.

Now it’s time for me to make a deep, great abrasion.

My target has no method of evasion.

My target has no magical calculation, or extrapolation, to avoid the incoming awkward situation.
