A PLACE CALLED HELL
May 3, 2026
The place called hell is as real as you or I,
It's never viewed as a pleasant place to go when you die.
It's where the unsaved, lost and wicked depart,
Separated from paradise by an impassible gulf apart.
It's a place where rebels against God are chained,
They're there until the day of Judgement contained.
It's a deep abyss and bottomless pit,
Where there is torment and flame in it.
Jesus Christ holds in his hand-hell's keys,
At his second coming hell and occupants will fall to one's knees.
They will be cast into the lake of fire indeed,
It's the second death-who readeth-better takeheed.
The lord has warned mankind of the awful certainty of hell,
He himself provided the means of escaping it as well.
When upon himself mankind's sin he took,
Their punishment he bore on the cross-don't overlook.
Notice that hell is a real place of torment,
Come to the truth of your sins and repent.
People in hell will still be able to think and feel,
The torment and terror conditions of hell are real.
Good works will not exempt you from hell or make free,
All who reject Christ as saviour are barking up the wrong tree.
