What Killing Is

December 3, 2016
My tongue is singed Hasn't healed yet I forgot how I cringed Lost in your silhouette  Each of my finger tips Shorter than the next They've all chipped Clawing, reaching, flexed Your harsh density And sandpaper skin Match your intensity How it scrubbed me thin You strangled my body And choked my dreams You said I was gaudy You don't know what it means You fed me lies And I fed your ego I'm not the girl that cries Come cry to me though Scream your mistakes Or whisper your sorrys It's all to late, the time it takes You're incredibly tardy Pull on my sleeve Rip at my willingness You slow thief Who knows what killing is
