Jaws of silver
Crushing spirit
Trapped
No way out
Just me and
Stranger who
I fear
Mind races back
To an apartment
Struggle with
Hands holding
Wrists to floor
 
Forced entry
Gaze meets mine
Warily familiar
To mind’s eye
Vilifying he who
I do not know
Out of a feared
Assumption resulting
From past plight
We rise
Meet a sudden halt
Jaws open
He exits
Smirk on face
 
Jaws close
Here I am
Alone
