The True You

November 8, 2015

I look in the mirror, what do I see?

A girl whose crying,

What's this mean to me?

She looks to be pale, full of sorrow and sadness

I begin to feels queezy, the more I glance

Growing louder with tears ,

She slowly looks up, with her hazel soaked eyes

I fall to the floor and begin to wonder,

Am I dying?

I know those eyes, I can feel her pain.

What is this I'm feeling?

I can see through her eyes,

This girl, she's smart,

She has beauty and shes brave.

She stand up for everyone who says that they'll stay.

It won't take her long to belive what they say,

So she begins to become attached,

Wait, what was that they say?

They "love her", but leave her.

This pain is too much,

I need a knife, a razor, please give me a gun.

Her heart I feel it,

It aches so much, I think it'll bust!

This girl I see, I know her.

Everyday I see her, she smiles and laughs.

Always there for others, and puts herself last;

For this girl who I know

This girl you see,

This crying sad girl, well frankly

That's the true me.
