If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

68 poems·Since November 2014

The passing of knowledge and wisdom is keen to our future, so why not make acquiring this knowledge a bit more interesting. I share what comes to mind although it may not make sense all of the time, all in hopes you learn from me. Maybe you'll understand something I couldn't see. So please enjoy what I write and maybe, just maybe, you'll learn something new that could broaden even your world view.

Why?

November 13, 2014

Why try, Why think

Why act, Why speak

Why move, Why dance

Why sing, Why play

Why run, Why write

Why compose, Why ski

Why ride, Why swim

Why help, Why destroy

Why create, Why build

Why serve, Why feed

Why sleep, Why eat

Why breathe, Why fly

Why fall, Why rise

Why ask, Why tell

Why hold, Why let go

Why listen, Why motivate

Why lead, Why find

Why reach, Why teach

Why learn, Why search

Why love, Why hate

Why fight, Why cry

Why laugh, Why experience

Why touch, Why feel

Why heal, Why read

Why see, Why scream

Why direct, Why act

Why smell, Why exist

When you can live.
