helpless horror

December 13, 2014

12/12/2014

you used to be scared of the monsters

they said hid under your bed

but you've learned in this life my poor child

the worst slither inside your head

they crawl through your eyes in your teardrops
they freeze up your lungs like the snow
trap in stone cages your heartbeats
and ensure that you live life alone

how i wish i could say i can help you
wish that i could unlock your numb heart
that i could kill all of the demons
that dance through your sweet hurting head
