We really aren't a thing

January 27, 2014

We really aren't a thing

We aren't a thing,

we can't be.

I see you,

but why can't you see me?

WE could be a thing

If you would just notice me.

Maybe say hi,

I liked the poem you slammed today.

We're the garden of eden

I eve and you temptation.

I naive and you forbidden.

We really aren't a thing.

But we could be

If you would release yourself to me.
