Veil

January 8, 2021

A city’s luminescence is but a front

The masses seek a truth while in the wake of a false prophet

Rabid animals seeking to complete their own twisted agendas

Speech comes from the mouth in a froth of bitterness

People can’t see the poison lying underneath

They have already become afflicted with its influence

Spreading the false word and growing to no end

Only once the city is consumed does one see the true light beyond the veil of perception
