Regret

July 30, 2013

I never thought it would come to this

I knew I should’ve told you

I just wanted to give you that one sweet kiss

From the moment I approached you

I knew

This is what I had to do

Now that you’re gone

If only you had lived on

Now there is one thing that I do regret

It’s that I still hadn’t told you yet

How much you really mean to me

If only I could have let you see

Now I have to live with this depression spell

That one moment of happiness didn’t end well
