Some people hold their pride in a flag.

And of their nation, they brag.

They feel empowered and superior and differentiate

Against those of other races they discriminate.

Som many people being judged by their race,

Feeling like they'll never belong in any place.

The untruthful words "a fair go" I do recall,

Untruthful as there is no such thing as a "fair go for all"

It's been a span of time since the days of Martin Luther King.

His name and racism have a familiar ring.

If opposing racism, he did not desire to strive.

The great man himself would still be alive.

We live in a democracy of racism

We will never be free.

Everyone judges your natonality 

And the colour of your skin.

Respect and equality have become impossible to win.

Because they see beauty in everyone and everything they see,

But what's beautiful in their eyes is ugly to me.

They get beat down for standing up for what is right.

But they rise up again to continue with the fight.

It's tragic to believe that people of those characteristics

Are becoming more and more rare.

The poor and downtrodden, they truly do care.

Beautiful people with hearts of gold.

They deserve to have their stories told.

Extremely humble and modest and free of conceit.

People like that one does not often meet.

The fist half of the poem is about racism, whereas the second part of the poem

is about the people who suffer by going against racism.
