Chasm

February 3, 2017
The wind on the edge so fierce

Grip waivering under such pressure

Eyes locked onto the abyss

Limbs aching of desperation and despair

The failed human suture

Trying to make megalithic seams meet

Stinging footprints upon your back

Belonging to those who cross at your expense

The Precipice of choice looms in the deep

Does one fall, or does one favor the far ledge?
