Peter Pan

August 31, 2017

Peter Pan was a boy

So selfish and coy

He lured the unhappy

Told them lies so sappy

For he would stay young forever

The children from home, he’d sever

And when the kids grew

He’d kill to start anew

For he could only hope to grow

Back home, he’d been buried below

Unable to cope

He kept by a child’s hope

But he had nobody to wash his mouth out with soap

No one to mother him when he’d mope

He was wild and coy

That parentless, sad little boy
