Unrightfully Imprisoned

December 6, 2013

Five days a week

I wake up from my sleep

Waste my time in a building

educationally bleak

Kidnapped and bind

Stuck in a time

where I'm forced to be a prisoner in my own fuckin mind

Meant to fit in a mold

Reigns and chains on my soul

Handeled by the government, and universities equally

12 years of my life

steered away from being different

12 years of my life

as just another statistic

Society's irony all starts here

We're meant to make new discoveries

but told not to follow our dream

Why is a class full of individuals

tested by the same means?

Fuck studying for a final

teach us about survival

We're always supposed to follow where Ms. led

but where we were taugh to follow just leaves us misled

In the end our worth all comes down to one thing

a geek with an A, or a jock with a D

When will we realize society's needs of changed

get freed, released from these reigns and these chains

Stand up for what you beileve in

Hold your tongue for no one

Fight, Strike

Become number one

WE NEED CHANGE
