Water

May 10, 2017

I wonder what it would like to be like water, flowing like an ocean or sea

I know I am 70% it, but what if it were 100% me?

Aware of emotion, aware of power

From one size of a tear drop to a typhoon tower

I cannot imagine the feeling of that power under the sun

The ability to destroy or heal creatures in one

To be a necessity to everything existing on this earth

To disguise myself in sadness, joy and even mirth

All in the same action but with different meaning as I fall down one's cheek

To possibly appear like every other drop, but somehow it's appearance is unique

I want to feel the mass of those that drink me 24/7 and use me for breath

I want to feel my anatomy caressing sand, like someone happily ready for death

I want to feel the webbed feet of seagulls gracing the surface of me

Because I can credit me as the cause of the effect of their soaring to meet sun beams

I could feel the power inside of me and choose to remain calm and at peace

Or  to  make myself known and attach my body to land like sheep to fleece

What it would be like to have no shape, form, or set out direction

To be used as motivation, happiness, and affection

To be detected, but cannot stopped by anyone or anything

No dam, no fire, no pollution could fully take over my being

To feel a rhythm in my movement everywhere I flow

To have full variety in whether to go fast or slow

To let change in my temperature create a reaction on who or what I touch

To create deep powerful thoughts in one as I grace their body and not clutch

To not have opinion, but simple existence without judgment

To not wish for anything more, but my presence I am content

To connect everyone and everything to each other because I am that one link

To make oneness, to unite a piece of paper to the child on the swing

That paper was once a tree that, because of me, just like the child had an upbringing

To be beautiful, adapting, open, non judgmental, daring, humble yet bold

I now know what I want to be as I grow to be old

I want to be like water, and though I am only 70% in my current state

I plan to get as close to 100 as I can before it is too late

Matter of fact, I wish we all could be water but solid matter stops us from meeting

Like land to water is negativity, depression and fear to us greeting

To allow our spirituality to be filled with water like children on a morning bus

To be able to look at each person as they are, and treat them like water treats us
