Why I Write

January 13, 2017

Writing is the only thing that keeps me sane
I do it to deal with all of the pain,
It's the only way to deal with my depression
For people that don't have it relation will be foreign,
Writing makes me feel invincible
I will not lose this battle,
I don't do it to be the best
I do it because I'm being tested,
Depression makes my brain infested
Beating it is where my time is invested,
That's why I write
Makes me feel like the light is in sight,
When I do I feel like the sky's is the limit
And I will never plummet,
I develope a little ego
But that is okay because up is the only place I'll go
