If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

I am a military child, and have been all of my life. A student, I believe that life is a school where the lessons never stop coming and there is never a wrong or bad question. Poetry is something I struggle to force out but can write a mean slam poem from free thoughts and an open sheet of paper. Your mind is a place where you know more than you can imagine be it from this life or one you once lived in the past, but either way there is a connection and you can always put some of that in writing. Also a writer, I write short stories and am working on various books.
