The Reason Why

April 11, 2013
The scars he has, he tries to cover up. The mistakes he made in the past, his guilt just can't go away. The regret so large, casusing emotional pain A pain that just won't go away. People say to forgive and forget. But it's easier for him to forgive others then it is to forgive himself. The wall around his heart rises as the regret grows larger and the emotional pain becomes unbearable. Eventually he can't handle it anymore. He goes to the kitchen to get a knife... and holds it to his wrist. He debates it for a moment, "This will hurt, but I deserve the pain." He ponders it once more, until... He slices the blade against his cold flesh. "I'll only do this once, just this time to feel the pain" he whispers. Eventually, he begins to prefer the physical pain over the emotional turmoil. He chooses the blade over the memories. He tries to hide the scars He tries to hide the past and the reason why
