Black men your race needs you
Black woman your race needs you
Together we are powerful
They can't stand to see us together
They want us to hate each other so they try to turn us against each other
They fear us black so they take us out one by one
And they go home to their own as if nothing happened
They beat us!
They shoot us!
They kill us because they fear us!
But we can let that gets us
We can't forget who you are
We can't forget how powerful we are
How dare you trust them before you trust your own struggle
They don't know what it is to be black
They don't know the fear of you minding yo own business getting stopped not knowing whether you may die or not
They don't know!
But I still love being black
I love being black!
I love black people!
