I want to lose my self in my writing the same way I get lost in peoples eyes.

bloom

December 31, 2019

The unbelievable truth woke me that night

the realization that now without you I'm actually fine..

I rose to find these seeds of new beginnings and planted them in my soul

It was okay for my heart to feel calm

It was okay that my soul felt free

It was okay that I was happy without you

this delicious awakening watered my seeds

drenched them with peace for what we were, what we aren't,

and what I'll be.

Watered them so entirely that I could already see my bloom.
