I need space

I need time

I need you to listen 

 

We are taught that we need to be voice our feelings. 

Therapy tells us that what we feel is important

We need to protect our own mental health

But who protects theirs

 

I need you to understand

I need you to give me a break

I need you to shut up

I need you to say something

 

You rely on the people around you 

To feel supported Wanted and valued,

But you take their words and skew them to fit your twisted narrative

 

I need to sleep

I need a drink

I need drugs

 

You turn to what makes you feel numb

You want to feel nothing but in return you feel everything

 

You didnt help me

I need to end it.
