In Time with the Moon

May 15, 2013
Look where you step Or you may not just stand In the place you expected But a faraway land Where darkness engulfs you And the light never shines Where the children are crying Air filled with their whines Where color is nothing And terror is rule Where nightmares come from And the people are cruel Where hatred is law And nothing is sweet Where relaxing is painful And you always get beat Where thought means less Than a choppy, harsh tune Where every heart beats In time with the moon
