Patchwork

June 17, 2016

He said that slammin' saved his soul

That he had a lot of inner turmoil

And while he said I saved his life

I never accounted for that knife

Or for that knife to pass on to me

Where I had the choice, I or we?

So now I slam, hoping it will save my soul

Because I too have inner turmoil
