Cursed

March 6, 2016

(A dual poem by Bailey Bennett)

Creativity never came without

costs. I never saw a painter free from

pain, or an actor who didn't dabble in

addiction, or a dancer without a

disorder.Creativity is cursed.

Creativity has taken my friends

named Cameron an illustrator with

compulsions, and Adam a comic with

anxiety, and Drew a writer with

depression, and everyone else I know.
