Reminiscing

August 3, 2015

As a child, I knew nothing more

Than the wind that carried me

Carelessly through the woods.

Worry free, as Mother Nature

Engulfed me in all she had to offer,

Captivating me with her splendid majesties.

How I yearn for the days when I was free.

When the duties of being an adolescent

Were the farthest thing from my mind.

Now, the wind no longer whispers my name,

And i'm caught in the middle of being a child

And the young woman I am becoming.
