The tide

On the shore and verge of liberty The rushing tides seem hollow On the shore and verge of tyranny The tide only recalls the gory history What is lost to man and known by god only While lasting peace is out of our reach We remember the saying of how great and vast gpd's hands are And we believe n pray to him may he take the time to catch us And he does well most of us He lets some go and experience the fall And in anticipation of the destination The mounting of the tide Some of us succeed we call them heroic Those who wipe out are infamous for their own vanity That they question their own sanity But If only an episode could cause a breakdown Then what of millions calling your name in anxiety and hostility We say the good will survive However most times purity in survival is rare Only do we dare
