Too Yourself

September 27, 2017

'You're too nerdy'

I just like to watch movies about super heroes.

'You're too old'

I just had a hard time in high school.

'You're too boyish.'

I have a short haircut and play sports.

'You're too gay'

I'm bisexual.

'You're too weird'

I enjoy movies about witches and wizards.

'You're too out there.'

I participate in multiple clubs.

'You're too serious'

I only talk when I think what I say is valuable.

'You're too shy.'

Every time I try to befriend someone, I don't fit in enough.

Every time you say 'You're too ____' You're telling someone they're too themselves.

That they make you uncomfortable.

You're too judgemental.
