Why I Wake Up

August 25, 2016

It's all for the rush

I could never make myself hush

When I roll out of bed

I just pick up my head

To be at my best

I need my daily quest

Demanding a challenge for my day

I begin on my way

Adversaries arrive with a swagger

I can always make them stagger

My trial was no match

I left without a scratch

Finding greatness is my motivation

I would enjoy feeling admiration

To one day be found in quotation

I could show those who taught me some admiration
