The Rock in the Middle

August 13, 2015

I surround myself with people who flock

amongst others who are in search for a rock

The symbolic rock that this world is built upon

the mind that I possess wanders along

while my soul sings the happy song

that will one day enchant and enlighten

the very world that is marred with the penchant for fighting

I sit indian style amongst the crowd

well hidden behind the conspicuous shroud

One day my dreams will meet the crowd

The loneliness will wear while they prepare

for the day that I raise my legs and and stare straight

into the eyes of my fears until they go away

The Crowd will always stay

Until the loneliness goes away...

I am the rock.

The insconspicous and patient rock.
