Dear Reflection

December 21, 2017

Dear Reflection,

What do you look like?

Your face seems unable to decide.

Your eyes seem to be vaccant, cold pots,

yet often they brim with simmering, shimmering chocolate.

Your mouth seems to be awkward

until it alights with a glinting, glimmering grin.

And your cheeks seem to sag

Before they inflate with a free, felicitous flush.

I hope that you resolve soon

because your indecision  is begining to hurt.
