Hello! I'm a beginner poet trying to improve. I would love some constructive criticism so that I can develop some skills. I tend to write what I feel
Feeling lost and nobody can see me
Drowning but nobody can save me
Screaming but nobody can hear me
Crying with nobody near me
We’re thousands of miles apart
With every beat of my heart
The feelings begin to restart
Will I ever get beside this
Or will my thoughts just keep recycling
I don’t think I can fight this
To everyone else I’m a mystery, but baby to you I’m an open book
Are you the chance I wanna be taking
Or the past I’m gonna be erasing?
Are you the history I wanna keep repeating
Or the regret that leads...
