Why I Write

August 9, 2013

A beautiful muse
Whispers words into the night time air.
The syllables vibrate into my eardrum.
An electric current rushes to my brain.
An idea!
My heartbeat increases.
I must write!
This beautiful muse has chosen me as her medium
And now I must take these syllables, form these words, craft this piece
Of unimaginable beautiful for the world to see.
Who will bring lyrical words,
deep feels,
if not I?
Who will unmask a new perspective, if not me?
This creative muse picks very few to do her bidding
So how could I ever refuse?
