Right Hand
I've been through a lot and at times yes it hurt. But whenever I needed someone there you were always the one to step up and make it work. Through all the tears and the groans. Through all the smiles and the late nights sitting alone. Even those times I felt that I had no one to turn too. I had you. Whenever I felt that I didnt matter you're voice always chimed in and reminded me that wasn't true. I remember when we first met, when you first stepped into my life as just a joke, an assignment, a bond of thought and reason that I never thought would connect as close as we do. From learning your secrets just to get a grade too embracing them and holding them tight in order to save me from my ever growing pain. You entered my heart and left a stain of joy and relief. Whenever I open my mouth it is only me speaking of the greatness that is your name. How much you have grown, how your sweet, gentle, but stern touch has pushed me through life all these years. Oh Poetry I can go on and on about what you mean to me but then this will turn into a book not a poem. But Poetry since the small age of 11 you have been my friend, diary, and right hand man. Thank You.
