Answer to the call

January 13, 2015

Deep inside my bones

I feel icy cold

Over damp stones covered with mold

I find myself alone with the wind

Wonder what makes me feel bleak

The solitaire or the fear?

The latter, I faced when Dad left scars on Mom weak

The former, I met when my friends threw a kick on my back

With fury, I trembled

Along grudge, I wept

With a sharp cry, I fled

Leaving them alarmed

Lying down I shouted

For I found no exit to be out

I have yelled "Help!" by so far

And I still scream, breaking near ears apart.
