John Locke's Rap
Yo I’m John Locke and I’m here to bust some rhymes
Gonna tell you how we educated back in the old times.
Get yo mamma and yo dadda and pull out your quill,
For the knowledge and the virtue that they will instill.
Don’t need some school cramming stuff down your throat,
Jammin, slammin information till your little head bloats.
Pull out your little mind slate, don’t worry it’s clean.
Whatever you learn here will be something you glean.
Baby it’s nurture, not nature that will get you through life.
Education makes you dance, it takes away strife!
See your callin, don’t be stallin nor on others hatin,
Be tolerant of others, all else be Satan!
Make the foundation of this nation your station for elation
As relation with creation gives no sound preparation
For education’s sensation and association of deliberation
Let your vocation be the equation for your coronation.
So all you professors, you can eat my dust
Let the little children come to a man they trust.
