Rain's Refrain

July 26, 2014

Dancing rain makes the dearest refrain

Of a song I once used to say my name

But its wedding train will never be the same

As long as my heart and mind are not sane.

Feel the power of the song as it dances through

As it weaves into your soul and makes you new.

But as I said, it will ever be askew

For I never gave love all that it was due.

Here I sit in my own death, longing for the life,

The life that only you can give in this strife.
