Finding Strength After a Heart Break

October 2, 2016

I heard the voices of the broken hearted
I am not alone on this dreary road
My tears are not the only ones to've fallen
My burdens are not the only heavy load
Pick yourselves up and release your pain
Yes it hurt that their love was not real
Yes we gave so much of ourselves
But at the right time a greater love will heal
For far too long since then I've hidden
Took my depression and sat in the dark
We have to know that this is life
A lesson isn't the flame, but is the spark
