Life On a String

June 24, 2013

From point A to point B

Like a one way street

Our lives have been made

To walk the one way

From birth to end

We feed the system

We give it breath

On this narrow path

We dare not to ask

But what shall be

Beyond this string

For shall I step off

And be made to grow wings

The system, it needs

To compile all of the strings

To consume them all

For it to succeed

From point A to point B

I will not walk on this string

As I open my eyes,

To reach for the skies
