First Amendment

January 2, 2014

I walk down the block

As I hear the clock tic toc

and it came to me

That I am free

Is it impossible or could it be

I have the right to

Speak and write simply

The First Amendment protects what I say

but if I go to far it might fade away

Speech can be defined in so many ways

It starts with a case like Tinker Vs. Des Moines

It just would not take it's place

was it to hard to embrace

The press wants to critisize Obama

It's a shame they can't make fun of yo mamma

the law prohibits obscene words or printing

to bad GPC won't stop their picketing

it has gone to far beyond worth reasoning

No words I say are libel or slander

my views and opinions

you should all take a gander
