She

April 16, 2016

You ask what I would need.                                                                                                                                                                                                If I were to spend my days surrounded by the sea?

Well I would need my dear mother;

  Oh how lovely she is, like her there is no other.

Are you in danger? Nothing to fear because there is none like mother
Lonely and naive and as gullible as can be,
I wouldn't know how to survive in an island.
But with my mother on my side,
I would be as calm as the sunset tides.
