Dream

January 14, 2016

In the world of today close your eyes and dream

Dream of a new world

Where the road less traveled is war

And phones are a luxury not a necessity

A place where 10 chugs are taken

From root beer not liquor

A place where the elements help build rather than destroy

A place where wood smoke is the only smoke

A place where we don't have to watch

For the one bullet that can tear through the heart

A place where the only robbers are the people that take your heart

Look for a place where people don't look at covers

But read...everything

Look for a world where love is from the heart

Not a bag of goodies, money, or pain

Look for tears being listened to

...Look for those things because when you open your eyes

Everything changes

Unless you use another superpower

Imagination can change lives just like dreams can

Imagine a world without peace or war

Imagine looking into the eyes of corruption, racism, money, and suffering

As you wrap them in chains and watch

As they sink to the depths

Imagine a place where one joke wouldn't offend millions

But is still funny...hehe

Imagine if bullying didn't add...

Forget it, imagine if bullying wasn't...there

Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream

But his wasn't the only one that mattered

Millions followed him because of the one thing they had in common

THEY HAD A DREAM
