The Scientist

September 27, 2013

The Scientist laboured day and night to pry open the chest of secrets.

He hammered the lid. He pried at the lock. He kicked it with all his might. But it would not move.

It refused to budge, until one morning, the Scientist stumbled across a key.

He put the key in the lock. There was a click. Heart racing, the Scientist opened the lid.

And inside the chest, he found another chest.

The Scientist smiled.
