The Art of Not Taking Things For Granted

January 18, 2017

Have you ever loved like me

Open up your mind and see

We take for granted the ones

That we say we truly love

Hanging with the peeps

I call my friends

Knowing they won't be here

Until the end

Looking out towards the window

At the people I will never know

I'm so glad that I met you

Cause I know you are true

When your sky begins to crumble

Just know that I'll be there

When you are feeling alone

I promise I'll still be here

Because you are the sun in my heart

The cause to all of my art

You are the blood in my veins

The one who eases my pain

Can't live without you

I wouldn't know what to do

Because you

Give me life to continue
