It's things that I would never say to you, because my ego's not going away
It's things that I would do to you, but still I can't say
The words that leave my lips are simple to say, but coming from me to you I just can't do it that way
It's been a whiile since we spoke & it's killing me to say these simple words that to you may have died & withered away
But, still, relentlessly I shower you with my appreciation still the simplest thing I can not say
