My fingers tickle
Over silver beads,
Smooth over a metal plaque,
Chain folds over my grasp.

My shrine to him, I serve
Circumpunct with a porcelain plate,
Waterfall depicted upon.
Gold Japanese characters
Embroider edges.

Encircling, I place a scroll
Of cardboard, with logo of wings,
Numbered 3C; minus
The stub ripped from entry.

A weathered brown glove holds
The charm of a young boy.
My salty, my sweet;
Tear splashed into the pool.
