Mirror, Mirror

January 8, 2017

What do you see

Looking in the mirror?

You see yourself.

The good, The bad

The light, The dark

The pretty, The ugly.

No one can judge you

Like you judge yourself.

There are times when

You look in the mirror

And see an exquisite model

And others when you see

A ghastly monster.

The mirror can be

Our most trusted friend

And our most vile enemy.

The mirror cannot lie,

Cannot trick you.

What do you see

Looking in the mirror?

You see yourself,

Inside and Out.
